It is wisdom to know others;
It is enlightenment to know one's self.
The conqueror of men is powerful;
The master of himself is strong.
It is wealth to be content;
It is willful to force one's way on others.
Endurance is to keep one's place;
Long life is to die and not perish.

 The Way of Introspection

Each night just prior to sleep (when your subconsciousness is more permeable) a Researcher of Truth from the neophyte to the most advanced Researcher, recalls the day from start to conclusion.

Inhale deep patterned breaths and relax completely. See yourself in each encounter and situation of that day. With full impunity and leniency ask yourself the following questions:

What did I say that I shouldn't have said?
What didn't I say that I should have said?

What did I do that I shouldn't have done?
What didn't I do that I should have done?

There is much to learn from this work when practiced sincerely. You'll learn to trace your emotions, thoughts and actions to their source. Through this process you'll gradually act less from egoistic motivations and will resolve the storms of your subconsciousness as you gain ever greater control over your emotions and desires. Introspection is central to any attempt at purifying the present-day personality. It takes but ten minutes a day of serious self observation to improve your moral-social character and enhance your spiritual-mystical development.

  Good thoughts will produce good actions and bad thoughts mill produce bad actions.
